halo and pigball

halo is a devider. People seriously get angry over this stupid stupid game. Its really funny but rather disconcerning. I have moved from being totally against it to playing every once and a while. (sorry sam I sold out) and I have to admit its kinda fun and slightly addicting, but its halarious to see my friends cussing at the computer screen when things aren't going right. Just makes me want to say chill out my baby's (not that they are my baby's but thats just what I want to say and this is my blog so I don't have to justify it). Pigball on the other hand this game is a uniter. I truely believe if all the world leaders could just put aside there differences for one day and come play a friendly game of pigball there would be world peace. No more war. We could use all that eaxtra billions upon billions of dollars to cure all disease, but as long as the world plays games like halo with eachother this came never be achieved....but I digress....sort of....

the use of the word disconcerning is on purpous it alludes to a humorous poem michael w. wrote last year in creative writting. I'm not sure anyone will get it but i found it funny and blogs are mostly for self right?

"Pacifism is not good." What a thought. It would be good, I think, if everyone believed in it. But then, that is precisely why it is not good -- because not everyone believes in it. I am reminded of a Jack Handy:

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

I'm also reminded of this quote:

I believe in making the world safe for our children, but not our children's children, because I don't think children should be having sex.

But I digress (sorry "Liz" for this blantant plagiarism, since you obviously invented the phrase, "I digress." But I digress. Haha! get it? Oh self-referentialism is such an enjoying hobby. Often times, I lock myself in my room on Sturdays and then trap myself into a cage of infinite regress. But I digress. (And now I come with Shakespearean punning...things have digressed too far.))

Back to what I was saying. I believe it involved pigball and world leaders. Oh yes, I was going to create a funny scenario of fascist dictators playing pigball and eventually all dying or something along those lines, but I lost interest. I must leave now, so that the two of you may work out your lovers' quarrel, which is mostly political...and that's weird. Farewell.

Doug, as you call yourself, pacifism, like communism, would never work. Good idealistic theory, but human nature will simply not allow it... too bad. Interesting quote, it's funny because it is true.

~Anyway, yeah, you're right... you did plagarize. Thats pretty bad, you should know better.

you also may have plagarized my best friend...

by the way... is it alright to quote you? I will take it off if it is not alright.

hmmm, you may need to read my blog. I made an observation.

Mike~ i apologize that none of this was a response for you. rock on! :)
